Today we moved onto the module focused with effective communication with customers and other staff in the workplace. We learnt some methods and tricks to get the most out of interactions with virtually anyone we come in contact with on a daily basis. Understanding the salon’s policies and procedures for client interaction both face to face and over the phone are integral to the day to day running. Basically effective communication helps with the effective and efficient running of a salon which means a better client experience!
We spent the rest of the day working on our log books – these keep a record of the hands on experience we get performing each of the treatments we have learnt so far…great opportunity to catch up if we’ve fallen behind in places.
